Cheating

I have a secret to tell you. It's something that I've been witholding from you for quite some time now; since May 8th, 2011 to be exact.

I am still blogging daily.

The only problem is that it is literally all in my head. Almost everyday while running, or while holding my pointy-sticks and yarn, we converse. I tell you all about the trials and tribulations of running, how wonderful my current project feels in my hands, or how utterly delicious my newest oatmeal creation is.

Then I realize that I don't have the internet... then our witty conversations slip away, and before long, the idea of writing a blog post seems insurmountable.

But I want you to know that I still think about you. Every. Day.

Luckily, today I do have internet access and felt the need to reach out and tell you that I miss you.

Oh, and that I am completely and utterly enthralled with my current knitting project, my Sweet Thermal. Literally all I am doing is eating bowls of voluminous oatmeal covered in dark chocolate and peanut butter, running countless training miles in preparation for the Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon in 46 days, and curling up on my couch with my sweet, SweetGeorgia yarn.

PS: It has taken every fiber of my being to not attempt to summarize the past three months for you, to recall all our in-my-head-conversations. Perhaps sometimes less is more.

Funny, I check your blog at least once a week even though I know you don't have internet at the new house. So when I checked it out of habit and saw something new I was overly excited for a second! (Is it bad of me to wish that you would sum up the past three months? ;D)

So nice to hear from you. :) Your knitting really blows me away, it puts my pitiful attempts to shame! Take care and keep enjoying your life as you are. We will all still be here to catch your updates when you are able to post them. <3

I love the thermal! You are making me very tempted to foray into sweater making (I am really only a knitter of small projects: slippers, toques, mittens, the occasional scarf).
