Ah, the stash…
In light of my recent spring cleaning and desire to lead a life free of excess, I stumbled upon my yarn stash while working on confining “stashes” to their spaces; the stationary fits in the desk drawers, the books on the shelves, and the stash in it’s stash basket.
Airing the stash as Brenda would say, inspired me to continue avoiding the accumulation of stash and find projects to fit the yarn rather than projects that require new yarn consumption.
And so I present to you, a view of my stash, organized by date of acquisition!
Sure, it doesn't seem that large (and it's not), but when I sat down and began assigning projects to the yarn it made me realize... there's a lot of knitting to be done here!
Currently on the needles
1. Lingerie Socks in A Verb for Keeping Warm Annapurna Cashmere Yarn
2. Signature Monogram Socks in Sandnes Garn Sisu
3. February Lady Sweater in Mission Falls 1824 Wool
The Queue
1. Cowl Shell in SWTC Oasis Solid
2. Skew in Pico Accuardi Dyeworks Hand Painted Repeater Sock
3. Hurricane Hat in Caron Simply Soft Shadows
4. Featherweight Cardigan in Malabrigo Yarn Lace
5. Killybegs in Garavogue Tweed
6. Spiral Cowl in Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk DK
7. Otto (Teddy Bear) in Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk DK
8. Tangled Yoke Cardigan in DROPS Silke-Tweed
9. Plain Stockinette Socks in Schachenmayr Nomotta Regia World Ball Color 4-fädig/4ply
10. Montague Bulky Lace Vest in Twilleys of Stamford Freedom 100% Wool
I’m still unsure as to what I will be knitting with the remaining yarns:
I also have a ton of leftover yarn bits and bobs from completed projects… I hoard yarn!
I’ve been considering knitting a Sock Yarn Blanket for quite some time now; I just love the idea of being able to look back over each square and remember a project or gift knit at various times in my life.

Busting the stash may just be my final push to start on this wonderful project!
Let the stash slog begin!!!
