Comfort

This happened.

I cleared the room to paint.
Not having much in the room to begin with, it wasn't hard to turn the place into a painting-friendly space. The absence of those few pieces of "us" made me realize how there is such thing as having too little. I am not an extreme minimalist, not by any means, but once the room was devoid of personal belongings (with the exception of several pieces of large furniture, as pictured) it felt... cold. Hanging out in the great room was no longer comfortable.

Painting occurred, furniture was rearranged, our belongings were reintroduced to the space, and ahhhh... home again. Now featuring "Brazil Nut" on the walls :)

It's a good thing we made the great room cozy just in time for...

SNOW!

Wow! What a huge difference a little bit of paint makes! Your place is looking so cozy and is always so...clean! I miss the days of when I'm not stepping on a Hot Wheel/Lego/puzzle piece with the painful little nib in the middle/a soggy Cheerio...you get the picture! :)
